Lobi Stars host Kano Pillars as Sporting Lagos meet Shooting Stars

Second-placed Lobi Stars of Makurdi will host Kano Pillars in a Week 18 game of the Nigerian Premier Football League (NPFL) at their adopted Lafia home, today.

Lobi Stars are second on the NPFL table with 32 points from 17 matches, same with leaders, Remo Stars, who have a superior goals aggregate.

Remo Stars will travel to Katsina United, while Rivers United will host Akwa in Port Harcourt, just as Bayelsa United will entertain Bendel Insurance at the Samson Siasia Stadium, Yenagoa.

The Week 17 matches kicked off on Saturday with Doma United losing surprisingly to Abia Warriors in Umuahia by 3-0.

Doma United are placed fourth on the table, behind Plateau United, who defeated Enyimba 1-0 in Jos on Saturday.

In other matches played at the weekend, Enugu Rangers defeated Gombe United 4-1 at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Sunshine Stars and Niger Tornadoes played out a goalless draw in Akure, while the game between Heartland and Kwara United was postponed.
