Joe Oche-Onoja, Head Coach of Kaduna State Cricket Association, has commended his players for winning the Nigeria Cricket U-17 championship.

Onoja commended his victorious team while speaking with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday in Kaduna.

The coach said he was excited by his team’s performance throughout the competition, saying his players played to instructions, hence, the victory.

“I am happy with the performances displayed by the players at the competition. We only lost a game throughout the competition.

“I am happy that at the end of the competition, not only did we win the trophy we were awarded the most valuable player, Best batsman, sports betting best bowler and best fielder during the competition.

“This shows that our cricketers are really good and have improved their game,’’ he said.
Onoja, however, premier league odds appealed to the State Government to help rehabilitate the cricket pitch for better outing in future competitions.

He said the pitch which had been messed up by footballers, was in a bad shape.

“We are appealing to the state government to assist us in fixing our pitch so that we can be able to make good outing in upcoming competitions.

“Our pitch is of international standard and bet predictions today with the way it is now we cannot train properly on it.

“Kaduna state is doing well in terms of national and international competitions and we are to represent the country in Uganda or Zimbabwe for U17 cricket series in May 2020,” sporting bet he said.

Onoja added that the feat had seen eight of his players jetted out of the country for international championship, shop bet within the last two weeks.

“I think it a plus for Kaduna state government that we are going for higher performances.
“We therefore appeal to the State Government to assist us to fix our pitch to enhance our team’s performance in future competitions,’’ Onoja urged.
