Organisers reveal teams for Kwara inter-secondary school volleyball championship
Organizers of the Kwara Inter-Secondary Schools Volleyball Championship have revealed the list of participating schools for the maiden grassroots volleyball championship, which officially began yesterday.
Participating in the tournament, which is held at the indoor sports hall of Kwara State Stadium, are Government Day Secondary School (GDSS), Adeta; online betting Government Day Secondary School (GDSS), Ogidi; Ansarul Islam College, Ogidi; Government High School Adeta; Apata Ajele Secondary School, Asa; Erinle Secondary School; Mandate Secondary School and Unilorin Secondary School.
Unveiling the timetable for the competition, yesterday, online betting site a member of the organising committee, Dare Kuti, acknowledged everyone, who partnered for the success of the competition, saying without their support, the programme would not have been possible.
“I want to appreciate all who made this programme possible because without this partnership, betting tips 1×2 I do not think this competition would have taken off.
“Organising any sporting event, Today Match especially one that is not football, can be tough, but we are happy that this is finally happening despite several obstacles we faced,” he said.
He commended stakeholders, including the Kwara Sports Commission, Premier league team the Kwara Volleyball Association and the Kwara State Volleyball referees and the media for their contributions to the tournament.
The competition, which started yesterday, will end tomorrow with the winners getting various prizes.
