Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen, is expected to return to action this Saturday as Galatasaray face Gençlerbirliği.

The club has been struggling to score in their recent Turkish Super Lig games.

Osimhen’s coach Okan Buruk has admitted that the Nigerian is a driving force in the team and he might likely return for this Saturday’s tie. He fractured his arm during a Champions League round of 16 clash against Liverpool in March.

“Osimhen had a long training session with the majority of the team on Wednesday. He had a good physical workout and finished comfortably,” Burul told GS TV.

“Of course, having every player join the team has a very positive impact. Osimhen is one of the driving forces here. I have great confidence in all my players. It is very important that all my players are part of the team. Their training performance is crucial.

“Osimhen’s participation in training also positively increases the team’s energy. We will see about the weekend today and tomorrow. We will decide whether or not to take him to Ankara,” he added.
