Ratels boss throws weight behind Ogun 2023 National Sports Festival
Chairman of Ratels Sports Development Foundation (RSDF), Paul Edeh, has thrown his weight behind Ogun State’s bid to stage a successful National Sports Festival in 2023.
Ogun won the bid to host the 22nd National Sports Festival at the end of the Delta 2022 edition of the Games. Speaking to newsman in Abuja, Edeh said Ogun stands out with regards to sports development in Nigeria, adding that it wasn’t a blunder that they’ll welcome the entire country to participate in the 22nd edition of the festival next year.
The football administrator assured that Ogun will replicate the successes recorded by Delta State in the recently concluded Games in Asaba, adding, “they have also given a lot to the development of sports in their state and I think it also brings to the fore, the fact that the festival is supposed to be a harbinger of unity among the various states.”
