StarTimes charges Falconets to go for gold, assures on live broadcast of event

As teams finalise preparations for the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, which kicks off on Sunday, the official broadcast partner of the completion, StarTimes has urged Nigeria’s team, the Falconets to do the country proud by bringing the cup home.
The biannual tournament will last until August 24 with 16 teams battling for glory.
According to Startimes, all the 32 matches will be broadcast live and in HD on its World Football and Sports Focus channels for the entertainment of its subscribers across Africa.
In a good-will message to the Falconets, who are also two-time runners up in the competition, StarTimes urged the team to do Nigeria proud by bringing home the cup.

The Falconets begin their campaign with a huge test against Germany at the Stade de Marville in Saint –Malo on Monday, August 6.

Germany beat Nigeria to lift the trophy the two times the Falconets got to the championship final in 2010 in Germany and 2014 in Canada.
StarTimes said non-subscribers will not be left out of the show as all the matches can be watched live and in HD on its mobile App, which can be downloaded from the Android and iOS app store.
Nigeria’s Group D opponents, Haiti will be taking part in their first ever FIFA women’s tournament.

The other African flag bearers, Ghana was thrown into the same Group A as hosts France, New Zealand and The Netherlands.
