Three clubs have made bids for in-demand Nigerian striker, Victor Osimhen, according to Sky Sports.

The broadcaster claim that “two top Premier League clubs and a LaLiga side” have made formal offers for the 20-year-old Osimhen has scored 18 goals in all competitions this campaign, including 13 in Ligue 1, and providing four assists and that has led to a flurry of interest from the Premier League.

Nigeria football ambassador, Daniel Amokachi, said over the weekend that the Lille striker was the second best Nigerian footballer.

“I would pick Ndidi first. The young man has shown tremendous quality for Leicester City and has been consistent,” Amokachi said on Brilla FM, per AOI when asked to pick his best Nigerian players.

“He is my first choice. I also would pick Victor Osimhen, who plays for Lille in the French league. He has been amazing and was very hot even before the break we are observing now.”

The Ligue 1 side want over £70 million for the player, who they bought from the Belgian side, Charleroi, last summer for just £10 million and they have had plenty of interest.

Arsenal are amongst the clubs interested with French outlet Le Quotidien du Foot suggesting that Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United also want the forward.Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s “priority” in the summer is Osimhen, claims a report.

French publication Le10 Sport claim United have locked on to the forward and looking to strike a deal in the summer, which could see them pair Osimhen with loan star Odion Ighalo. In December, a report from Sky Sports revealed that there was also interest from Liverpool and Chelsea.
