The English Premier League’s 2019-20 season started recently on August 09 and the transfer window closed just one day before that. Now that all the eyes are on the teams, with 10 months of exciting soccer action in store for everyone, let’s look at the top 4 players that everyone would be watching in the current Premier League season.

Harry Kane, Tottenham
The exhausting World Cup campaign and regular injuries had kept Harry Kane from playing his best football at Tottenham last season, however, even then he was pretty good. Despite all these hassles, Kane managed to score an impressive 17 goals and assisted in 4 in his 28 appearances for the Spurs. All the football predictions portals were confident that he would have definitely crossed the 20-goal mark if he had played all the games. But now as he has had good rest the entire summer, Harry Kane is back to being fully fit and is expected to go the distance this time.

Sergio Aguero, Manchester City
The prolific attacking player from Argentina has proved to be amongst the most consistent Premier League players in his entire tenure of 8 years with Manchester City so far. In all those 8 seasons, Sergio Aguero has scored in double digits for the side, and more than 20 goals in 6 seasons overall, especially the last 5 seasons straight. The 2018-19 goals tally for the player stood at an impressive 21, just behind the Golden Boot winners (at 22). Being 31 years old, Aguero still has a few good years of football left in him. Despite the fact that he hasn’t received the kind of respect he deserves from both media and EPL fans, it goes without saying that he will go down in the EPL history as one of its greats.

Sadio Mane, Liverpool
Although Mohamed Salah has gathered maximum attention in the fearsome attacking unit of Liverpool, Sadio Mane has quietly made a name for himself as one of the best EPL players of all time, improving season after season under Jurgen Klopp. He played a record 36 games last season, the maximum he has played in a single season at Anfield, and scored 22 goals, tying him up for the Golden Boot with Aubameyang and Mo Salah.

Pierre Emerick Aubameyang, Arsenal
Aubameyang had a fantastic Premier League season last year after he joined Arsenal in January, 2018. He proved to everyone why it was the best decision for Arsenal to make him the most expensive acquisition for the club by performing exceedingly well for the club in almost all the games. Forging an amazing partnership with Alexandre Lacazette, Aubameyang successfully scored a total of 22 goals, tying him up with Mo Salah and Sadio Mane for the Golden Boot honours. If you look at the preseason games, Aubameyang is back to his usual best already and will benefit tremendously from the addition of Nicolas Pepe to the Gunners’ attack.
