Tony Yusuf-Adam won the 15th Julius Berger Invitational Tournament at the IBB Golf and Country Club, Abuja… at the weekend.

A United Kingdom-based pilot and international golfer, Tony Yusuf-Adam, who won the overall prize at the Julius Berger 15th Invitational Golf tournament at the IBB Golf and Country Club Abuja over the weekend, has described the organization of the tournament as the best he has ever experienced in his international golfing experience.

Tony Yusuf-Adam, who said he just set out to enjoy a good game with fellow happy golfers, gave kudos to Julius Berger Nigeria Plc for organizing such an enjoyable and memorable tournament.

He won the tournament with a 77 gross at 42 points, and was presented with the beautiful overall winner’s trophy at the tournament’s dinner by the Chairman of Julius Berger, Mr Mutiu Sunmonu.

Other prizes won at the tournament include the Longest Drives for men, which was won by O. Ogali at a shot of 256metres; and for women, which was won by A. Wilfred at a shot of 188 metres. Nearest the pin for men was won by V.O Adedipe at 8ft, and for women was won by Judith Wagner at 8ft.

The first place for Ladies Division 2 (Handicaps 19-36) was won at handicap 27 with 38 points by F. Anyanwu, while the first place for Ladies (Handicaps 0-18) was taken at handicap 17 with 35 points by J. Ayu.  Best Betting Platform

In the Veterans’ men category, the first place was won by B. Afolabi at handicap 14 with 36 points. In the Men division 3 (Handicaps 19-28) category, the first place was won by Spain Bruce at handicap 20 with 42 points closely followed by the South Korean Ambassador to Nigeria, Lee Intae at handicap 20 with 42 points.

In the Men Division 2 (Handicaps 11-18) category, the 1st place was won by C. Shaiyen at handicap 12 with 41 points. In the Men Division 1 (Handicaps 0-10) category, L. Welle took the 1st place at handicap 7 with 37 points with P. Uzezi and A. Chigbo following in 2nd and 3rd places with handicaps 10 and 8 respectively tying at 36 points each.

The overall winner of the tournament, Tony Yusuf-Adam at handicap 12 grossed 77 Strokes at 42 points to win the JBN Plc 15th Invitational Golf Tournament 2018.
