YSFON salutes Pinnick, promises more collaborations with NFF

Youth Sports Federation of Nigeria (YSFON) President, Dr. Nasir Gawuna, has congratulated newly elected CAF executive committee member and President of the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF), Amaju Pinnick.

Speaking through the Publicity Secretary of the body, Paul Akhagbemhe, Gawuna said he was proud that Nigeria has regained its place in African football with this election, but he advised Pinnick to ensure that he maximises the gains of this new opportunity to improve the nations fortune in African and world football.

The YSFON boss promised continued cooperation with the NFF to contribute to Nigeria’s success in various areas of youth football development.

He insists that with concerted efforts in football competition, Nigerian youths will be gainfully employed and crime will be reduced to its barest minimum.

Gawuna appealed to well meaning Nigerians and corporate bodies to support the NFF and YSFON in their quest to return the country to the leading role it played in world youth football in the 80s and 90s.

He promised that YSFON would soon introduce innovations in youth soccer development by coming up with new competitions that would enhance the growth of the total child.
