Alpha Nigeria moves to reset church, holds conference

A faith-based Non-governmental Organisation (NGO), known as ALPHA Nigeria, has concluded plans to hold its conference aimed at helping churches to digitalise their mode of operations.

The conference billed to hold on June 20, at 12:30 pm is specifically designed to provide digital innovations and knowledge convenient for conducting church services and making teaching and learning of God’s word more effective and pleasurable.

Themed: “Reset: Empowering The Next Generation,” the organisers of the Conference, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Alpha Nigeria, Ms. Toun Williams, said the event would equip the church with new knowledge, equipment and tools required to reach out to the next generation and prepare them to take up the mantle of leadership.

She recalled that even before the pandemic, there was a need for the church to improve its curriculum and systems to drive a digital generation of young people that needed updated and more user-friendly modes of interaction, but that COVID-19 has accelerated that journey and made it possible for the church to now has cause to come to terms with a digital future.

ALPHA Nigeria, Williams stated, is at the forefront of resetting how the church engages with the future generations of young Christians globally.

The impact conference, she said, was very important to every church, as it would provide the springboard needed to reach out to youth population in tandem with the world’s new realities.

She disclosed that the virtual confab is a must for Christian religious leaders, laymen and women and will feature such dynamic speakers as Very Rev. Adebola Ojofeitimi; Pastor Godman Akinlabi; Rev. Fr. Paul Akin-Otiko (OP); Chude Jideonwo; TY Bello, Moses Ida-Michaels, among others.

The confab, which will empower Christians and make a lasting impact, is open to all Church leaders, stakeholders, senior church members, youth leaders, evangelists, missionaries and those involved in winning souls for the Kingdom of God.
