Believers’ right in the kingdom

Sister Blessing Okpala also sharing her testimony at the event

Right as a noun is having a just claim to something by an individual. Such right could be the opportunity to vote in a General Election in one’s country. It can also be the claim to the inheritance of someone’s father’s property or any other thing legally or constitutionally guaranteed to the person. Someone’s right cannot be denied him, if the person knows it. The believers in our Lord Jesus Christ have this right, both here on earth and in heaven, as long as they remain the sons and daughters of The Almighty God. In the introductory scripture above, it is this right the father was explaining to his son to understand. Since the son is ever with the father, all the property of the father legally and constitutionally belongs to the son. Anyone who lacks the knowledge of his right in the Kingdom will be suffering in the midst of plenty. All things belong to us, as long as we remain the children of the living God.

The Bible says in 1st Corinthians 3:21-23, “Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours; 22 Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours; 23 And ye are Christ’s; and Christ is God’s”. In the Kingdom, there are blessings and favours, there are protections and promotions, there are positions of leadership, and even thrones are available to the believers. We are joint heirs with our Lord Jesus Christ. Our duty is to access them, claim and take them at the appointed time. We are the head and not the tail.

Our Lord Jesus Christ is coming back to rule the world and as joint heirs with Him, we are going to reign with Him. That is why the Bible says in Ezekiel 21:27, “I will overturn, overturn, overturn, it: and it shall be no more, until he come whose right it is; and I will give it him”. It is the right of our Lord Jesus Christ to rule the world after overturning men’s affairs. He will return with the saints, and the light from His body will destroy the Anti-Christ that would be sitting in the temple of Jerusalem. Our Lord Jesus Christ will sit on His throne based on the Davidic dynasty to rule the world. The saints, the believers in Christ will reign with Him; this is part of our right in the kingdom. Currently, there is an interregnum as far as the David’s dynasty is concerned. That is why the scripture above says it shall be no more. Then when the one whose right it is, the throne will be given to Him. The restoration will be effected at the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ after the Anti-Christ has been destroyed.

It is the right of the believers to manipulate and exploit this world for our own benefits. The Bible says in Psalm 115:16, “The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord’s: but the earth hath he given to the children of men”. God has given us this earth as a right to use to our benefits. After creating man, God blessed him and empowered him to eat freely from the fruits of the trees in the Garden of Eden. All the herbs, trees, animals and other resources of the earth will be meat for Adam and Eve. By our position on Earth, the agents of darkness, the demons are under us. As children of God, we are not to suffer afflictions of sicknesses and diseases. Sound health should always be our right in the Kingdom. This will be possible, if we are able to claim them, based on the rights and privileges available to us. The Bible says in Daniel 11:32, “And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits”. Knowing God entails the recognition that He is our Creator and Owner of our lives. Power belongs to Him, so He can do all things. God is our Protector and Provider, and with Him, all things are possible. Any believer who knows all these facts will be strong enough in the Lord to do exploits. It is, therefore, our right to hide under His protection and look unto Him for the provision of all our needs.

It is also our right to make requests from God and expect positive responses. In John 14:13-14, the Bible says, “And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.” For God to do anything for us on this planet earth, He expects us to make formal request through prayers. As our Father in Heaven, He responds positive. It is our right that our Father should give attention to the requests of His children. It is a definite promise that whatever we, the Children of the Kingdom ask in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, God our Father in Heaven will do it for us.
Although it is true God created all human beings on earth, but not all are His children because they do not believe in the only Son of God, Jesus Christ. As a result of this unbelief, such people are not children of God; hence they have no right in the Kingdom. For such people to become children of God, they must receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. That is why the Bible makes it clear in John 1:12-13, “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God”. When an individual receives Jesus Christ as his Saviour, repents of his or her sins, Heaven will recognise the person and consequently become the child of God. The person becomes joint heir with Jesus Christ and his or her right in the Kingdom will be established.

For you to begin to enjoy the rights enumerated above, you need to be born again, accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour and those rights will be your portion and you will make Heaven at the end of this earthly life in Jesus name!

Testimony Of The Lord’s Doing
Saved From The Hands Of Ritual Killers

MY name is Sister Bernadine Oraeme. I joined The Chosen in 2004, and I became a full member in 2012. I live in Ejigbo. This testimony happened last year, a month to the lockdown. I was going to the market and a call came through my phone. It was my elder sister’s daughter, and she told me that her mother went to Aswani Market to supply goods on Tuesday (yesterday) and she had not been found. Her phone was not going through. We thought she went somewhere, so we started searching for her from police station to different places. From that Tuesday till Thursday, we couldn’t find her. Immediately my sister’s daughter told me the situation on ground, I sent an SMS to our General Pastor. I came here on Thursday, the sun was scorching and I was restless. I wished my restlessness could find her and I would be happy and satisfied. I presented myself to God and made a vow to God that, if He would release my sister, I would come up here to testify. Our Pastor made a declaration and said, “that person looking for somebody, I give you three days, that person will be found.” After service, I went to my sister’s place to encourage them. I did that every day. I told them our Pastor’s declaration and they were relieved and started smiling. After everything, it happened according to the declaration of our Pastor and my sister was found. On Sunday morning of that week, she came back home. Praise the Lord. Our God is so great. I pray for our Pastor and his family. I pray that God will never abandon them in Jesus name! I pray for The Chosen ones worldwide. Heaven at last in Jesus name!

Sister Speaks:
MY name is Sister Ebere Akabueze. Last year before the lockdown, I went to Aswani Market. Around 3 p.m. on my way back home, I entered this big L.T bus and then a four-seater bus (danfo) came and the conductor was shouting Ikotun N100. Everyone was rushing to enter the bus. Before we reached Oke-afa, everyone in the bus was sleeping. I was the only one awake. The bus conductor said to me, ‘why are you not sleeping? Are your eyes banned from sleeping?’ Those were the last words I could remember. After that, I found myself with others in one nice house. They told us to come down from the bus and we did. They brought one big bag and told us to drop all the money we made from sales that day in Aswani Market in the bag. We dropped our money, and thought it ended there. But then they pointed at some people and told them to enter a place. Usually, whenever I am going anywhere, I normally carry my Bible in my bag along with me. I started dragging the Bible with one of them, and they started beating me. I held my Bible tightly in my armpit. They took away my bag and handcuffed me. I started declaring myself as a Chosen. In the night of that day, I heard some people crying and shouting, “Don’t kill me. I have children and family.” They were slaughtering them like goats, and before I knew it, they had killed all, leaving only me. In the morning, they came and started beating me. They hit my head with staff of authority (Ofor in Igbo language) seven times, but nothing happened to me. Suddenly, the angel of our pastor came and delivered me and took me to my house. That was how God of Chosen delivered me from the hands of ritual killers. Our God is so great, may His name be glorified.
I pray for our General Pastor and his family, all Chosen ones and their families. Heaven at last in Jesus name! Praise the Lord!
