COVID-19 in God’s purpose – Part 3

The second Purpose behind these plagues is to reveal His faithfulness to His people. Fear not!! Do not be afraid!! For the Lord God of Heaven has put a division between YOU and THEM. This is not a call for you to live carelessly, in which case, you will be tempting the Lord. Maintain all the rules of hygiene, medicine and social distancing and lockdowns, while completely trusting in the faithfulness of the Lord in your heart.

The third purpose is to, by reason of these plagues, remind the church of the soon-coming of Jesus. It is the time for the church to ascend to the realm of the spirit and be prepared to meet with our Saviour and Lord. Let us look at how succinctly Jesus describes it in Lk 21:25-28. “And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh. It’s actually the time to look up and lift up her head. THE RAPTURE IS NEAR!!

The fourth purpose is that these plagues, particularly COVID-19, and whichever one is to follow before the rapture is to serve as a WARNING and DRESS REHEARSAL for the plagues of the Trumpet and the Vial judgments that shall be unleashed upon the earth during the period of the Wrath of the Lamb and the period of “God’s Recompense”, after the rapture of the saints (from Revelation 8 onwards). The Church WILL NEVER be part of these, but anyone without Jesus in his or her life shall be warned. This is the time to run to Jesus for dear life. Read part of these plagues in Revelation 9 and imagine locusts with the sting of scorpions in their tails and their teeth were as teeth of lions (Rev 9:1-10). These plagues are a dress-rehearsal for what is coming. My prayer for you is that you will not be part of these in Jesus Name.
