His influences are as eclectic as his sound, drawing inspiration from artists like Burna Boy, Wizkid, and Ed Sheeran, merging Afrobeat rhythms, reggae vibes, and bluesy guitar melodies into a unique, unmistakable sound.

When asked about the title, Coast passionately explains, “The title, ‘Jo Crazy,’ encapsulates the essence of the song. During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, David channeled his emotions and experiences into his music birthing his first single, “My Pain,” in November 2020. Since then, he’s released a string of singles, including the soulful “Hush” and the infectious “Your Body,” captivating audiences across Dallas and beyond.

This track, produced by the talented Marphy Jay, is a unique blend of Afrobeats and Amapiano, infused with soulful blues on the guitar, and it promises a unique experience.
