Godwin Ifeacho has enjoined Church leaders not to over-reach themselves, when carrying out their duties as ministers of the gospel.

The President of God’s Kingdom Society (GKS) the Church of the Living God, Brother Godwin Ifeacho has enjoined Church leaders not to over-reach themselves, when carrying out their duties as ministers of the gospel.

At the dedication service of GKS Ubogo Branch Service Hall, last Sunday in Udu Local Government Area of Delta State, the President stated that Church ministers must give themselves wholly to their duties for which they were called into the ministry of Christ, as they would eventually give account to God Almighty for their actions and utterances.

“Those who are ministers should be very careful and face the work of preaching the gospel,” he said.

Brother Ifeacho, as he is called, explained that God had apportioned duties to devoted ministers, as well as lay members, adding that every person must be faithful, honest, diligent and steadfast in carrying out their duties in order to be bountifully blessed in this world and be given eternal life in the world to come.

Speaking on the theme: “Except the Lord builds the house, they labour in vain that build it” taken from Psalm 127:1, Brother Okiemute Akporedafe, a minister of the Church, described God’s house as the Church, which consists of anointed Christians and the other sheep.

“The work of God is not built through efforts of ordinary mortals but by God Almighty, using human beings as instruments. Though God will not come down to dwell physically in the Service Hall, it was vital that a convenient place be built for God’s people to worship Him. Hence, God blessed David and Solomon richly for what they did in building a magnificent temple to worship Him.
