Adeboye commissions remodeled Dominion Sanctuary building, prays for parishioners

General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye has commissioned the remodeled headquarters parish building of the First Born Family, RCCG Dominion Sanctuary, Region 19 in Ogba, Lagos.

General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye has commissioned the remodeled headquarters parish building of the First Born Family, RCCG Dominion Sanctuary, Region 19 in Ogba, Lagos.

The project, which took approximately 10 months to complete started in September last year and was officially completed in July 2018. It is a two-storey building comprising offices for national officers, elders, ministers’ rooms, prayer foyer, vestry, pastors in charge of the parish/region, expanded gallery and a bookshop.

The remodeled office block is also an addition to the existing structure, which already houses the youth, children church, toddler classes, playrooms, and multi-purpose hall.

At the dedication themed: Dream-Like Miracles, Pastor Adeboye prayed for dream-like miracles to the parishioners who witnessed the event.He said: “Miracles are in categories of wonders, signs, greatness, superior, special and dream-like, which also is in category of physical, material, social and spiritual. Some miracles happen that you will still think you are dreaming.”

Mother-in-Israel, Pastor (Mrs.) Folu Adeboye congratulated the Ikeja family and elders for their exemplary work, especially in nurturing the church to greatness.
In recognition of their contribution towards the growth of Christianity in Nigeria and their role in Christian social responsibility, Pastor Adeboye and his wife were decorated with Chaplain General and Patroness General of the Boys Brigade of Nigeria, respectively.

Pastor-in-charge of Region 19 who doubles as Special Assistant to the General Overseer on Missions, Brown Oyitso expressed appreciation to Pastor Adeboye, 12 people that God used to restart the parish many years ago, past leaders who toiled in prayer, fasting and labourious work to build the family and many others who have contributed to the success of the parish.
