“Marriage is honourable and the bed undefiled, but those who commit fornication or adultery and wanting to evade shame and terminate the pregnancy will go to hell and God is no respecter of persons.

The same punishment goes for those who want to enjoy what they are not permitted to (only in marriage) by taking contraceptives to prevent life. married couples who commit abortion because they know longer want children or get involved in the use of contraceptive to prevent life instead of knowing safe period and stick to that will face God’s judgement” he said.

He enjoined medical doctors, pharmacists and other health workers to keep to the oath they have sworn and preserve life. The cleric also urged parents to educate their children to avoid abortion and the taking of contraceptives.
