Five prayers that God delights to answer

Joel 2:32 “And it shall come to pass, that WHOSOEVER SHALL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD SHALL BE DELIVERED.” Acts 2:21 “And it shall come to pass, that WHOSOEVER SHALL CALL on the Name of the LORD SHALL BE SAVED.”

On the pages of the Scripture – the Word of God, it is quite clear that GOD DELIGHTS TO ANSWER CERTAIN SPECIFIC PRAYERS. These prayers are not long. They are short but potent. Psalm 145:18 “The LORD is nigh unto ALL THEM THAT CALL UPON Him, to ALL THAT CALL UPON HIM IN TRUTH.” Basically, when we face crisis, we cannot engage in long repetition.

Our prayer content must be the Word of God. When Peter was drowning as he walked on water, he did not have the time to pray long prayers. He simply cried to JESUS in three words; “LORD, SAVE ME” and the LORD rescued him. Matthew 14:30 “But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, LORD, SAVE ME.” Psalm 34: 6 “This POOR MAN cried, and the LORD HEARD HIM, and SAVED HIM OUT OF ALL HIS TROUBLES.” LORD hears the prayer of the poor notwithstanding his economic or financial status. God will always save those who cry to Him for personal salvation and deliverance from all his troubles. In Psalm 50:15 God invites us to “CALL UPON ME in the day of trouble: I WILL DELIVER THEE, and thou shalt glorify Me.” God delights to answer our prayers when we are going through crisis, He will always answer our prayer for deliverance and salvation. Simply cry, “LORD save me OR will perish” and He will come to your aid.

(2) Another important prayer in our lives is “LORD, HELP ME.” God responds to us when we seek His help. Isaiah 41:17 “When the poor and needy seek water, AND THERE IS NONE, and their tongue faileth for thirst, I THE LORD WILL HEAR THEM, I the God of Israel will not forsake them.” God is committed to HELPING THE HELPLESS. When you ask the LORD for help, He will surely respond with His succour and assistance. Prayer for Divine Help is one of the prayers that God delights to answer. 2 Chronicles 14:11 And Asa cried unto the LORD his God, and said, LORD, it is nothing with THEE TO HELP, whether with many or with them that have no power: HELP US, O LORD OUR GOD; for we rest on thee, and in Thy Name we go against this multitude. O LORD, Thou art our God; let not man prevail against Thee.” King Asa and many others who sought divine help were helped in Scriptures.

God is still helping people today. (3) Another important prayer the LORD Delights to answer is, “LORD, LIFT ME.” Psalm 113:5-7 “Who is like unto the LORD our God, who dwelleth on high; HE RAISETH UP the poor out of the dust, AND LIFTETH THE needy out of the dunghill.” God is THE LIFTER OF MEN and when we turn to Him, His lifting force will be released. Psalm 3:3 “But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; MY GLORY, AND THE LIFTER UP OF MINE HEAD.” Today, there is tremendous space for you in the high places of life. Cry to Him, “LORD LIFT ME” and He will answer you speedily. (4) Another very important prayer that God delights to answer is “LORD BLESS ME.” The Prayer of Jabesh was not long, he asked God for “indeed blessing” or “blessing indeed.” His life was transformed with the prevalent of “the Blessing of the LORD. You cannot be blessed by the LORD and remain ordinary. Today, ask the LORD to BLESS you INDEED and watch how the EL-Shaddai God saturates your life with His overwhelming blessings financially, martially, materially, socially, etc. The LORD’S BLESSING will make you rich and add no sorrow to you. (5) Another crucial prayer that the LORD delights to answer is “LORD EMPOWER ME.” Deuteronomy 8:18 “But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is He that giveth thee POWER TO GET WEALTH, that He may establish His covenant which He sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.” When the LORD empowers you, you become extra-ordinary and supernatural. Difficult things become easy, the impossible becomes possible. Ask the LORD to empower you today and your life will never be the same. Do not forget to pray these FIVE SIMPLE PRAYERS daily. God delights in your prayers.
