God’s grace in your life is for his assignment, Aboyeji tells christians

The General Overseer, Foursquare Gospel Church in Nigeria, Rev. Sam Aboyeji has urged Christians to see God’s grace as an opportunity to work for Him more than ever.

He said the reason God bestows His grace on believers is to make available for His assignment. He described Grace as a divine ability, given to the underserved to carry out the divine assignment.

Recalling that over 300, 000 people have died since the Coronavirus pandemic started, Aboyeji said those who are still alive should thank God because it is by His grace.

He cited Paul the Apostle, Moses and the man, who wrote the popular hymn, Amazing Grace, John Newton as beneficiaries of God’s grace.

He said: “Many people have left this planet earth since this pandemic started. Many are in the hospital, while many are still struggling to survive. But God has kept you and me alive because of His grace. He kept you for a purpose and it must not be in vain. That grace in your life must not be wasted. Everything we need has been given to us through His grace.”

Speaking on his regular TV programme, Time of Divine Help With Rev. Sam Aboyeji, aired every Sunday on TVC television station, Aboyeji, who spoke on the theme: “Much more grace for more missions,” quoted Acts 8:1, where he enjoined Christians not to wait for God to scatter them before they propagate the gospel wherever they are.

He assured Christians of God’s presence and power, as they take the gospel to every creature. He also spoke on believers’ mandate as God’s people, the mission and motivation.
