Joshua Selman draws thousands to UK revival conference at AO Arena

Nigerian televangelist and founder of Eternity Network International, Apostle Joshua Selman, has again attracted massive crowds in the United Kingdom following a two-day revival conference held at Manchester’s AO Arena.

The apostolic gathering, themed Sound of Revival, drew thousands of worshippers from different parts of the world, with attendees filling the 21,000-capacity arena during the Wednesday and Thursday sessions.

The programme featured intense worship sessions, prayers, teachings and prophetic ministrations, with many participants describing the atmosphere inside the venue as spiritually charged.

The conference, organised by Eternity Network International, attracted several notable Nigerians and Christian leaders, including Super Eagles and Nottingham Forest star Taiwo Awoniyi, cleric Sam Oye, and gospel ministers Nathaniel Bassey and Chee.

Known widely for his revival-focused teachings and emphasis on spiritual intimacy, Apostle Selman delivered messages centred on personal transformation, spiritual awakening and renewed commitment to Christian faith.

Participants said worship songs, prayers and declarations echoed throughout the arena as attendees engaged in extended worship and prayer sessions.

Nathaniel Bassey’s worship ministrations also drew emotional reactions from many worshippers, with several attendees later sharing testimonies online about healing, restoration and renewed spiritual encounters experienced during the conference.

The event further reinforced Apostle Selman’s growing international reach, particularly within the United Kingdom and Europe, where his meetings have consistently drawn large audiences over recent years.

In May 2023, the cleric also held a major gathering at the AO Arena, attracting thousands of worshippers from across Europe and other regions.

Beyond physical attendance, the Sound of Revival conference reached global audiences through livestream platforms, allowing viewers across multiple countries to participate virtually.

Following the event, social media platforms were flooded with videos, photographs and testimonies from attendees, many describing the gathering as another major moment for Nigerian gospel ministers expanding Christian revival movements beyond Africa.

Observers say the increasing global visibility of Nigerian Christian leaders reflects the growing international influence of African-led ministries, particularly in areas of worship, revival gatherings and digital evangelism.
