Kumuyi urges Christians to be courageous and end well
Pastor William Folorunso Kumuyi, the General Superintendent of Deeper Life Christian Ministries, has described the Christian life of a believer as a race, which starts with repentance, faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and holiness, which according to him, enables the believer to be able to see God at the end of the Christian journey.
Speaking at a combined service in Ayobo, Ipaja, Lagos, which was attended by the four old groups of districts made up of old Isolo, old Mushin, old Orile and old Oshodi, the General Superintendent said what attracts reward to a race is how one ends it.
Speaking on the theme: ‘Finishing Well, After Starting Right,’ he cited King Saul as example, saying he started very well, but regrettably ended badly by entangling himself with idol worship, which brought an end to his reign as a king.
The cleric noted that this could happen to any believer, who is not careful with his/her relationship with God.
