Brethren, anyone who is not living for Christ is without doubt living for Satan. And if you are not living for Christ, you cannot be said to know the worth of life.

Brethren, anyone who is not living for Christ is without doubt living for Satan. And if you are not living for Christ, you cannot be said to know the worth of life. This is because no matter where you are, home is the best and no matter what you have away from home, it cannot be compared to whatever you have at home. Regardless of the part of the world you may have sojourned to, I want to let you understand that home remains the best. As we all know that Christ is the foundation of our faith, therefore, He is the home of every believer, but this divine home is open to as many as will believe.

Those who live for Christ are united in Him. They have one Father, one interest, one Home, one spirit with Him and one acquaintance. If you are a Christian and you are not in Christ, no matter what you have, it is counted as nothing because you are not at home. Christ is the basis on which Christians live their lives. As wedlock makes man and wife one body lawfully, so he that is joined to the Lord, namely, by faith and love, has a nearer and nobler union than that of flesh, for he is one spirit with Christ. Christ and the sincere believers are led and guided, actuated and influenced, by the same Spirit.

John 15:4-5 says, “Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. 5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.”

If you make Christ your home, you will be empowered for achievement because in Him, all things are possible, and whatever you get without Him is dangerous and can lead you to death. Christians whose names are not in the Book of life should endeavour to live for Christ, so that the purpose for which Jesus Christ came into this world would be fulfilled in their lives, and they would not only be joyful in this world, but also make heaven at last. So, if you are born again, then you must live the rest of your life for Christ.

Living For Christ And Benefit
ALL that are living for Christ ought to be after God’s Will in all things, and must be pleased with Him. Such people must endeavour to be holy within and without as to please the Master, and should follow after the footsteps of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Galatians 2:20 says, “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”

When one is said to live for Christ, it means that he has laid aside his old life, and taken up a new life after the likeness of Christ, as he is under the control of the spirit of Christ. He is expected in all his conversation to do things in the manner of our Lord Jesus Christ in purity, consecration, holiness and commitment. The person must see himself living in a state of dependence on Christ. Hence it is, that though he lives in the flesh, he does not live after the flesh. The more the believer relies on Christ for everything, the more devotedly does he walk before Him in all his ordinances and commandments. That is why Apostle Paul said he had been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer he that live, but Christ living in him. That life, which he lives in the flesh, he lives by faith in the Son of God, Who loved him, and gave Himself up for him. Living for Christ demands total adherence to the work of God

John 4:31-34 says, “In the meanwhile his disciples prayed him, saying, Master, eat. 32 But he said unto them, I have meat to eat that ye know not of. 33 Therefore said the disciples one to another, Hath any man brought him ought to eat? 34 Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.”

The Saviour declares in the above context that to do God’s Will is food to Him. It is enjoyment and strength. It does not weary, but refreshes. The great design of His life was to do God’s Will. If any man is living for Christ, such person will be bent on doing the will of God and he/she would always be mindful of pleasing God first and not self or what pleases the people of the world or what glorifies Satan. The main business of life is not to seek the supply of our temporal wants, but to do the will of God. The mere supply of our temporal necessities, though most men make it an object of their chief solicitude, is a small consideration in the sight of him who has a just views of the great design of human life. Any person living for Christ will live and do everything like Jesus did while here on earth, and shall not walk in darkness.

John 8:12 says, “Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.”

The great end and errand of Christ’s coming into the world was to give light unto poor souls that sat in darkness. Consequently, those who follow Christ shall not walk in darkness and shall not be left without the truths, which are necessary to keep them from destroying error, and the directions in the way of duty, necessary to keep them from sin. As many that would want to live their lives after Jesus Christ will do the work of God like soul winning; counselling, healing, praying, preaching the word of God, casting out devils, and must be holy, live righteously and as a matter of emphasis, do the work of God, because all these works are what enlighten the world. Jesus at all times did the will of God and it is recorded that God was with Him always. Similarly, if you as a child of the Kingdom of God will follow after Christ’s footsteps, God will be with you and none shall be able to contend with you and you will live victoriously and make heaven at last.

Anyone living for Christ must endeavour to be holy, separate themselves from sinners and be sinless. Every true believer in Christ, who will follow after Him, must aspire to copy the lifestyle of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Wonderful Work Of God
How A Notorious Cultist Turns A New Leaf
MATT. 5: 4 says, “Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.”
Brethren, the blessing pronounced above is not upon all that mourn, but upon those who mourn in reference to sin. All those that grieve over sin committed, and over the fact that they have offended God, shall surely get God’s blessing, for in His mercy shall the heavy-laden soul found peace.

My name is Samson (surname withheld). I want to express my gratitude to God for His mercy in making me renounce cultism and embrace Christ. It all started when my mother could no longer cope with my father, who is a native doctor and at the same time a prophet in a white garment church. When my mother left my dad, it dawned on me that I had become a child from a broken family, no more maternal counselling or guidance. Thus, I started following bad boys, smoking and picking-pocket. In the process, I got initiated into a secret cult and became an agent of six demonic kingdoms.

As a cultist and student of Abia State University Uturu, Okigwe, I initiated about 26 students into cultism. During the initiation, some of them died. As I became deep-rooted in that heinous crime, I noticed that three marine spirits had started following me. During the 2018 initiation ceremony on campus, one of these spirits told me he was my vessel and gave me a charm, which I buried with my group at Ugwuaji in Enugu State.

During the last election, I was paid to snatch ballot boxes in some areas. And after the election, when politicians stopped engaging us, I took to robbery with my gang. At the height of all these, while I thought I was untouchable, one of the agents of the kingdom told me that my time to die has come. He said the three demons detailed to follow me will ensure the order was executed. When I pleaded for more time, one of the agents told me that the only way to escape death was to appease the gods with a sacrifice.

Before I took the decision to appease the gods, I told my father about what I was going through, and he encouraged me to make a sacrifice as instructed. On the day of the sacrifice, my father was there. He told me to buy snail, which he would use to bath me, so I would be placed above human destruction.

On the eve of that sacrifice, I was so afraid to the extent that my body was shaking. In the night, I had a dream where I was told to go to a church called The Lord’s Chosen to be delivered. When I woke up, because I didn’t know how to locate the church, I went to one of my friends and asked him, but instead, he took me to his own church called Hope. I started fellowshipping with that ministry, but unfortunately, despite all the prayers, fasting and deliverances I was subjected to, I still noticed the presence of the three spirits wherever I went including the church.

So, after two weeks of worshipping with them and no result, I told my friend that it was clear I could not be delivered in their church. At that time, I was having the urge to attack them. But when I told my friend my plan to attack them, he pleaded with me not to attack the church, that rather than attack them, I should leave.

I left the church and traced The Lord’s Chosen state’s headquarters at Enugu State. As I was about entering the church on that first visit, the three marine spirits became angry, and tried to discourage me, but to no avail. When I entered and discovered that they couldn’t gain entrance into the church, as they used to in other churches, what came to my mind was that the church may be using some magical powers that scare demons away. After that day, behold, these evil spirits ceased appearing to me.

Later, I sought opportunity to meet with the Pastor in charge of the branch and told him what happened the first day of my visit. He told me that it was the power of God in the Church that scared the spirits and that God’s presence is always in all locations of the Church. He counselled that I should be committed to the works of God, as that will be the only panacea to my problem, because according to him, continuity brings freedom.

The Pastor invited me for a deliverance, prayed for me and instructed me to always mention that I AM A CHOSEN, whenever I encounter any danger. And if the danger refuses to go, I should call for the power of God of my pastor. He assured me of God’s intervention, if I followed his instruction. That night as I went to bed, I had a dream where troops of monkeys came to attack me and then I remembered what the Pastor told me and I shouted ‘I am a Chosen.’ Immediately, the monkeys ran away. From that day, I started introducing myself as a Chosen wherever I go and to whoever I had contact with. Subsequently, when my cohorts in cult and robbery heard that I am now a Chosen, they started avoiding me and I also tried not to associate with them again because light and darkness cannot blend. I advise all youths to abhor cultism, because it is evil and can lead to untimely death. I give glory to the God, Who delivered me from cultism. Brother Samson
