Love of Christ Generation Church to celebrate 19th harvest anniversary

Love of Christ Generation Church (LOC) will celebrate its 19th Harvest Anniversary with a four-day programme from September 10 to 13, 2026, bringing together worshippers, ministers, community leaders and guests for activities centred on the theme, “My Year of Divine Favour,” drawn from Proverbs 3:4.

The event will hold at the lagos church, located at 3/4 Water Corporation Drive, Oniru, Victoria Island, Lagos, and will feature spiritual gatherings, leadership engagements, health and sporting activities, as well as a grand thanksgiving service.

According to the church, the anniversary marks 19 years of ministry, evangelism, humanitarian service and community development under the leadership of its founder, Rev. Mother Esther Abimbola Ajayi, whose ministry has impacted thousands of lives across Nigeria and beyond.

The celebration will begin on Thursday, September 10, with a press conference scheduled for 10:00 a.m., after which a leadership seminar will hold at 6:00 p.m. The seminar is expected to bring together ministers, church leaders and invited guests to discuss issues relating to faith, leadership and nation-building.

Activities will continue on Friday, September 11, with an all-night Revival and Praise Night beginning at 10:00 p.m. The programme will be devoted to worship, prayer and spiritual renewal.

On Saturday, September 12, the church will shift its focus to community engagement and healthy living with a fitness walk and exercise session starting at 8:00 a.m. This will be followed by a football tournament at 12:00 noon and recreational games from 2:00 p.m. Organisers said the activities are designed to promote wellness, unity and fellowship among members and residents of the surrounding community.

The four-day celebration will culminate on Sunday, September 13, with a Harvest Thanksgiving Service beginning at 10:00 a.m., during which special prayers will be offered for Nigeria, the Church and individuals seeking divine direction and favour.

Speaking ahead of the anniversary, the founder of the church, Rev. Mother Esther Abimbola Ajayi, described the celebration as an opportunity to thank God for His faithfulness over the past 19 years while reaffirming the church’s commitment to soul-winning, transforming lives and serving humanity.

She said, “This anniversary is a celebration of God’s enduring grace and faithfulness. We have witnessed countless testimonies of lives transformed through His Word, and we believe this new season will usher many more people into a fresh experience of divine favour. We invite everyone to join us as we give thanks to God and look ahead with renewed hope and expectation.”

Since its establishment, Love of Christ Generation Church has become widely recognised for its evangelical mission and humanitarian interventions, including support for vulnerable communities, healthcare initiatives, educational assistance and empowerment programmes across Nigeria and other parts of the world.

The church said the anniversary programme is open to members of the public, government officials, members of the diplomatic community, religious leaders and everyone seeking spiritual enrichment. All events will take place at the Love of Christ Generation Church International Headquarters, located at 3/4 Water Corporation Drive, Oniru, Victoria Island, Lagos.
