The founder of Christian Central Chapel International (City of Testimonies), Archbishop Emmah Gospel Isong, has urged Christian women to submit to their husbands and also forgive them, so that their husbands could rise and do well in life.

The Archbishop appealed to men to also cherish their wives, treat them with respect and dignity to avoid rancour in their homes, saying this is the only way to perpetually keep the devil away from their marriages.

Isong, who spoke recently on the topic, “Why Many Men Have Come Down, And Many Women And Homes Are Suffering,” explained that it is the women that carry men’s favour based on what God said that he will favour the women, adding that the moment the woman is treated well by her husband, she will release that favour to her husband and the man would begin to prosper, but if the man is the type that beats and insults his wife, unknown to the woman she would block that favour from her to husband and that is the beginning of sorrow and suffering.

Appealing to both men and women to have peaceful homes, Isong said: ” The Bible says that men should treat their women like a weaker vessel. Therefore, treat her with wisdom and respect so that your prayers would not hindered. The devil is not happy when there is peace in a Christian home, he tries to make the woman to live a stubborn life, so that, the man will mistakenly beat her, maltreat her and insult her. His aim is to block that favour that comes from the woman. And when the devil enters her or the woman you love, no witchcraft is powerful than that.

“Women I command you today to repent and go back to the life of submission so that your men can rise. Whatever your husband or fiancee did to you today by this revelation you have to forgive him and if you don’t forgive him, he will not earn money to take care of you and you also will not eat and because he is not doing well you too cannot change your clothe.

“So, I appeal to men to treat their wives with care and respect, give her the blessing, talk to your wife respectfully, give her gifts of her choice. Whatever she loves give to her and let her mistakenly say, ‘God bless you.’ If she can say God bless you, not even your pastor can block it.

“Many men of God have fallen, not because they committed sin, but because they have suffered the woman that carries their favour. They have done this because they do not know how to manage the carrier of their favour. Any time you beat your wife and she goes to the bedroom and cries and says, ‘God block his business.’ You will begin to look for pastors and anointed servants of God to pray for you. We don’t have that kind of power to deliver you. The devil do possess some women to frustrate their husbands. Women if your husband mistakenly beats you, cry, but please do not curse him.”
Isong cited examples of women who were used by Satan to bring men down from their lofty heights.
