The Planter, Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Grace and Prayer Mountain of Mercy (world-wide), Adamimogo, Prophet Sam Olu Alo has called on Church leaders to mind the area of their calling and stop dabbling into areas they lack competence, saying operating in such areas would amount to misleading members.
Alo said this during the commissioning of a lavatory constructed at the Church campground in Aja, Lagos State by some members who live within the country and in the Diaspora.
Lamenting that many church leaders are usurping the office of prophets because they do not want to lose their members, he said they are rather doing those members a great harm by prophesying lies into their lives.
“There are diverse gifts in the Church and the Bible also warned that those called should face their area of calling, but what we have today is that those that are called to be teachers, evangelists among others want to be playing the role of prophets or seers,” he said.
Disclosing that many people are passing through agonies today because they did not receive true guidance, he called on people to get God’s approval before embarking on any venture, saying failure to do this has led to many into the wrong career and being stagnant in life.
Speaking against those engaging in trial marriage before seeking the face of God, as living in sin, he said they have placed the cart before the horse and should repent and follow God ordained path for marriage.
Alo also called on traders to have the fear of God and not capitalise on the current situation in the country to inflate the prices of goods and services.
CAC Regional Superintendent, Essien/Ogun States, Pastor Isaac Isaac Eyebiokin, who commissioned the facilities commended the church for their vision and care for the people.
