Pastor Claire Odii of Christ Embassy Church has on her 50th birthday celebration held at the Cornerstone, Christ Embassy Church,Oregun, Ikeja, Lagos, enjoined women to be diligent and hardworking in anyfield they find themselves.
Stressing that women putting in their best in any field they find themselves would not only keep them busy, but would also make them to be financially independent, she called on women to work, rather than depend on their men.
Recounting her experience with Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, the founder of Christ Embassy Church, Odii, said: “I joined Christ Embassy Ministry in 1995, by then, I was confused because I did not have the understanding of my identity, but after I got the right teaching from Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, I became aware of whom I am as a child of God. I also knew my mission and purpose in life and the path to fulfilling them.”
Odii disclosed that some people do not achieve their purposes in life because they do not know the word of God, saying the gospel of our Lord, Jesus Christ, gives meaning to our daily lives and through the gospel we can impact others too.
“We are winning souls for Christ through the Rhapsody of Reality, through the Healing Schools and all the things we do in the ministry,” she said.
Turning 50, she disclosed that she is celebrating life in Christ with understanding. “I understand my role in the gospel, so, I am celebrating the opportunity God has given me to be 50 years old today. We are touching lives globally, so, it is a celebration of life. It is an opportunity to thank God and the people in my life.”
