The Pastor-in-Charge of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG),Lagos Province 16,and Chairman, Redeemer’s Men Fellowship (RMF), Biyi Famoyegun, has called on men to lead a life that promotesthe mandates of God and also to begood husbands in their homes.
He made this call at the church’s 2025 Anchor programme with the theme, “Unleashed For Kingdom Positioning” organised by RCCG Redeemer’s Men Fellowship, Lagos Province 16, held at Peace Assembly Parish, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Pastor Famoyegun disclosed that RMF platform enablesmen to come together to address issues that concern the church, homes, businesses and society at large. He said:” People complain that churches are increasing in their numbers, but looking at the society, things are getting worse. We, therefore, decided to focus on men in the church, to equip them with the necessary tools to live exemplary life in the society. This is our vision and to the glory of God, we are seeing improvements on a yearly basis.
Famoyegun disclosed that aside the notable speakers on ground, RMF also organizes empowerment programmes for men, adding that two vehicles were bought for two men last yearto enable them fend for themselves.
He revealed that this year, some sums of money would be given to some men as startups in line with RMF four cardinal points, which are faith, family, fitness and finance.
The General Secretary for the group, Charles Okeibunor, said part of the ways to also empower members is to ask the rich among the group to bring the home appliances they no longer need, saying such items were sold at give-away prices to those that need them, but cannot afford them.
Dr. Chris Williams, Dr. Ayodeji Ebo, Pastor Titi Adegbile and Pastor Segun Macaulay among others were the facilitators that spoke on this year’s event, which is the third edition since the group came up.
