The mystery and power of the pendulum

Psalm 62:11 “God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that POWER BELONGETH UNTO GOD”. Daniel 4:32 “until thou know that THE MOST HIGH RULETH IN THE KINGDOM OF MEN, and giveth it to WHOMSOEVER HE WILL”. Lamentation 3:37 “Who is he THAT SAITH; and it COMETH TO PASS, when the LORD COMMANDED IT NOT”

One of the unresolved mysteries of life is the “POWER OF THE PENDULUM.” The Pendulum Clock is a mechanism, whereby through its swinging action, human time is calibrated and measured. It is interesting to note that for human time to be measured and ascertained, Pendulum must ALWAYS SWING and OSCILLATE. Pendulum is never static, as it is always swinging. Even in our modern day digitisation and computerisation, digital time measurement is never static, as it is always reading different figures.

It is amazing to note the digital clock that reads 11, 12 or 24 will soon read One. The Word declares clearly that there is a time and chance for EVERYONE on earth. Ecclesiastes 9:11: “I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but TIME AND CHANCE HAPPENETH TO THEM ALL.” Jehovah God is the One, Who dispenses “TIME AND CHANCE” God in His Justice has decided that the left wing or the right wing will always have their own time and chance.

The PERFECT TIME KEEPER always makes His Rain to fall on the Just and the Unjust. Jehovah God in His Benevolence operates a system of “inclusion” or “inclusivity.” He says, “whosoever” shall come to CALL upon Him shall be attended to and blessed. Romans 10:12 “For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same LORD over all IS RICH UNTO ALL that call upon Him.” The swinging of the Pendulum is the exclusive prerogative of the Almighty God. Jehovah is the One that rules in the affairs of men. Psalm 103:19 “The LORD hath prepared His Throne in the Heavens; AND HIS KINGDOM RULETH OVER ALL”.

Daniel 4:17 “This matter is by the decree of the Watchers, and the demand by the Word of the Holy Ones: to the intent that the Living may know that the Most High RULETH IN THE KINGDOM OF MEN, and GIVETH IT TO WHOMSOEVER HE WILL, and setteth up over it the basest of men.” Daniel 4:32 “until thou know that THE MOST HIGH RULETH IN THE KINGDOM OF MEN, and giveth it to WHOMSOEVER HE WILL.” Daniel 4:35
“And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and HE DOETH ACCORDING TO HIS WILL in the army of Heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay His hand, or say unto Him, What doest thou”? TIME AND CHANCE is a DIVINE FACTOR. Divine timing for every one of us is not a function of human capacity, skill, wisdom, might, power, education, affluence or influence. It is always a divine prerogative.

Psalm 62:11 “God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; THAT POWER BELONGETH UNTO GOD”. It was said once but David the great king in his humility decided to hear it twice and continuously that “POWER BELONGS TO GOD.” God confers privileges and power to whomever He wishes and NO ONE CAN QUERY HIM because a man can receive nothing, except it has been given from above. Politicians and even clergymen, who want TO PLAY GOD have always forgotten that “EXCLUSIVE POWER” resides permanently with God, which is why seeking the face of the Almighty God for His help wholeheartedly must not be politicised. The lesson of life is this: “when the Pendulum swings in your favour, you must fear God and not engage in exclusivity. You are required to use “time and chance” that has fallen in your lot to better the lots of the minorities and the majority.

PRAYER: Father God, I submit to your Government. I ask that Your Kingdom will rule in my life. I surrender to the Lordship of JESUS, the LORD of all. I ask Father that Your divine timing of “time and chance” will come to me. Father, let the Pendulum swing in my favour. In JESUS Mighty Name, I will not be arrogant, haughty and snobbish, when I receive Your privileges. In JESUS MIGHTY NAME, I position myself to serve God and humanity.
