The power of your words

Mark 11:23 “For verily I say unto you, THAT WHOSOEVER SHALL SAY unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he SAITH shall come to pass; HE SHALL HAVE WHATSOEVER HE SAITH”. Ecclesiastes 8:4 “Where the word of a king is, there is power: and who may say unto him, What doest thou”?

We are living in a world of Words – a world framed and fabricated by the Word of God. Hebrews 11:3 “Through faith we understand THAT THE WORLDS WERE FRAMED BY THE WORD OF GOD, so that things which are seen were not made of things, which do appear.” The first warfare in human history was not the War of guns, but the War of Words between Adam, Eve and Satan.

JESUS said in paraphrase that “WHOSOEVER SAY – SHALL HAVE WHATSOEVER HE SAYS.” Our words rule us. We become what we keep on saying about ourselves. You become a product of your words. Proverbs 18:21 “DEATH AND LIFE are IN THE POWER OF THE TONGUE and they that love it SHALL EAT THE FRUIT THEREOF.” You carry consequential power on your lips. You have the power to create life or death, riches or poverty, healing or sickness, etc. Proverbs 6:2 “Thou ART SNARED with the words of thy mouth, THOU ART TAKEN with the words of thy mouth.”

You have the capacity to have what you say. There is power and miracles on your lips. Your word is a powerful force – seed put in motion on a daily basis in your life. People attract what they say. What you say is what you will get. It is a law. Job 6:25 “How FORCIBLE ARE RIGHT WORDS! Speak right words. You can make yourself rich. Do not make yourself poor.

A man shall eat good by the fruit of his mouth. Proverbs 13:2 “A MAN SHALL EAT GOOD BY THE FRUIT OF HIS MOUTH.” What you keep saying is what you will become. Do not speak evil of yourself. You can make yourself great by what you say. Talk big. Philemon 1:6 “THAT THE COMMUNICATION OF THY FAITH may BECOME EFFECTUAL by the ACKNOWLEDGING of every good thing, which is in you in CHRIST JESUS.”

It is not enough to have faith. Your FAITH MUST BE COMMUNICATED. Romans 10:10 “For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth CONFESSION IS MADE unto salvation.” Everything you believe in your heart, you must declare same with your mouth. Mark 4:25 “For HE THAT HATH, to him shall be given: and he that hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he hath.” He who says he has, more will be given to him and the one that says he does not have, that which he has, will be taken from him. Numbers 14:28 “Say unto them, AS TRULY AS I LIVE saith the LORD, AS YE HAVE SPOKEN IN MINE EARS, SO WILL I DO TO YOU.” As you have spoken, so will the LORD do unto you.

So, what are you saying or speaking about yourself to God? Speak God’s promises about yourself to the ears of God. Tell God that through the authority of His Holy Word and the sacrifice of JESUS on the Cross- that you are the redeemed, the healed, the blessed, the head and not tail, the rich and not the poor. Joel 3:10 “Beat your plowshares into swords and your pruning hooks into spears; LET THE WEAK SAY, I AM STRONG.”

Call into existence what has never existed in your life. Matthew 12:37 “FOR BY THY WORDS thou SHALT BE JUSTIFIED, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.” You will always be justified by your words – that is, what you declare about your life, situation or circumstance. You have the Word of the KING of kings. Speak His Words and you will see His Omnipotent Power at work in your life.

Prayer: Today, I purpose in myself not to speak negative words. I take side with God’s promises and I create with God’s Word. I am the blessed, the redeemed, the lifted in CHRIST JESUS. I am the head and not the tail. I am above only. In the Name of JESUS, I succeed in all my endeavours.
