Wisdom, Yadah, Tope Alabi, others for 60-day Sacrifice Of Praise over Nigeria
Nigerian gospel artistes, Chigozie Wisdom and Zion Voices, have concluded plans to host this year’s 60-day Sacrifice of Praise Over Nigeria, which will hold from August 3 to October 1.
The yearly event, which is a national and global programme, was birthed in 2020 with the aim of showcasing the nation’s diverse cultural heritage and talents through praise.
As the name implies, the event brings together Nigerians from all over the world through the social media space to make a praise sacrifice on behalf of the nation for 60 days.
This year’s gathering will feature notable artistes, including Yadah, Tope Alabi, Sanmi Michael, Ibitayo Jeje, Darey Justified and Tosin Alao.
Also expected are BJ Sax, Laolu Gbenjo, Bukola Bekes, Eben, Buchi, Tosin Martins, Funke Akioku, Testimony Jaga and Olumide Iyun, among others.
According to the convener, Chigozie Wisdom, the 2023 edition promises to surpass the previous editions.
Wisdom said the programme will also feature prophetic declarations by renowned men of God, stressing that the event is designed to reset the spiritual atmosphere of the nation, usher God’s healing as well as the birth of a brighter future through praise and worship.
Quoting Psalm 67:5-6, Wisdom said: “Let the people praise thee O God, let all the people praise thee. Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us.”
