The General Overseer of the Foursquare Gospel Church, Rev. Felix Meduoye, has called on Nigerians never to lose hope in the country because of the current security situation and other happenings that make life difficult for the average man on the street, saying all will soon be well.

Meduoye, who said this during the dedication of Foursquare Gospel Church, Alamo Magboro, Ogun State, disclosed that the current terrorism and kidnapping happening in parts of the country is a persecution against the Church, adding that no amount of threat can stop the Church from moving forward.

Speaking on the topic, ‘The Gate Of Hell Shall Not Prevail Against The Church,’ he noted that Jesus Christ is the authority of the church and that all that believe in Him have also be given authority to do greater works than He did while alive.

The General Overseer, who believes that the Church would overcome its challenges, noted that though the various attacks against Christians and churches seem to weaken the body of Christ, but the keys to the Kingdom of God had been handed over to the Church to prevail against the gates of hell.

In his words: “It is unfortunately that each time there is any attack some people are saddened, forgetting that the church of Jesus Christ will keep growing because nobody can stop it.”

The cleric who was impressed with the performances of the youth and Arewa choirs of the Alamo branch urged the church to embrace the children and youth, as well as teach them the ways of God because they are the ones that will carry the gospel to different parts of the world.
