
The scholarships will cover part of their tuition fees for the six-year secondary education.
The awardees, Kunle-Dada Seyifunmi, Adeniran I. Taiwo, Adeniran I. Kehinde, Ibizugbe Joshua, Duro-Ishola Seunfunmi, Akinmosin Sharon Abiola and Ubegbor Blessing, have now joined 16 other beneficiaries of the school-sponsored scholarship scheme in different classes.
According to the principal of the school, Mr. Francis Fasuyi, the awards were based on the pupils’ exceptional performance in the entrance examination and would run all through their stay in the school.
He further said that the scholarship scheme aims to promote and reward excellence, while providing solid foundation for brilliant students, adding that it will also assist parents in financing the education of their children and wards.
The school, which commenced operations as a nursery and primary school in January 1998, opened the high school arm in September 2008.
Since then the school has opened annexes in Omole Phase 1, Ikeja Central Business District (CBD) in Alausa and Omole Phase II and produced five sets of high school graduates so far.
