‘Our prayers, wishes for our mothers’

I love my mummy so much because she is one out of a million. She is so caring and understanding. My wish for my mother is for her to be a millionaire. I also pray that she will be given her rights as a teacher.

As the world marked 2016 Mother’s Day last Sunday, some Nigerian children aired their wishes, prayers and feelings for their mothers to GBENGA AKINFENWA.

‘‘I Want My Mother To Be A Millionaire’

I love my mummy so much because she is one out of a million. She is so caring and understanding. My wish for my mother is for her to be a millionaire. I also pray that she will be given her rights as a teacher. I don’t wish for her to hold any political post. I wish above all that she lived long to reap the fruits of her labour. God bless my mum.

Let me first congratulate all mothers wherever they are. My mummy is a marvellous mother. She takes good care of us in all things. She so much loves little children that they are always around her. When it comes to cooking, my mummy’s great skill shows in the preparation and the taste of the food. I wish my mummy continued happy home with divine blessings. I pray that she gets to the pinnacle of her career with great success. As for politics, my mum’s involvement is for now limited to the performance of her civic duties.

My mummy is a great mother. She makes our house a loving place. She talks nicely to us and won’t yell at you, even though she disciplines you where and when necessary.
