The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, last Sunday, paid an unscheduled visit to the Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries at the just concluded two-day crusade, tagged: “Hope for the Needy,” held at its headquarters church in Ijesha, Lagos.

Sanwo-Olu and his entourage arrived the church premises at about 2:35pm and were immediately ushered into the church auditorium.

Expressing surprise at the large crowd, he commended Pastor Lazarus Muoka for the good work he is doing in God’s vineyard.

He said he had watched the General Overseer’s lifestyle and his preaching, as well as occurrence of miracles in people’s lives in the church, and was there to appreciate wonders of the Lord.

The governorship aspirant, who said he had testimony to share with the congregation, said: “It is not by accident that I am with you today. We need to hold on to our God, as miracle is real. In fact, I am standing in front of you as a living testimony of God’s miracle. My success so far is by the Word of God and the miracle of our General Overseer, and I have come to tell you that his prayer and your prayer is what I am asking for. I commend our Daddy G.O and every one of you present here today.”

Enjoining Christians to remain steadfast and unmovable in their commitment to the Lord, Sanwo-Olu called on the congregation to continue to pray for him and Nigeria as a whole, assuring the church he would return to really thank God.

He also urged Christians to be their brother’s keepers and be law-abiding citizens, saying they should conduct their affairs in a peaceful manner, especially as Christmas and 2019 elections are around the corner.
