This message is a wake up call for everyone. We are constantly in a battle and our text Eph. 6:10-12 says, it is not against man but a spiritual battle. We wrestle against principalities and powers, spiritual wickedness in high places. These are unseen forces and so we need deep knowledge of their devices or else the devil will take advantage of our ignorance. One of the greatest threats to the devil is the believer who understands his authority and position in Christ. A lot of Christians today are just playing church with little or no knowledge of their spiritual identity. Those who have taken a step higher in commitment to service are just busy with physical activities while spiritually their whole life is a battle ground characterised by defeats and casualties.

The first sign that you are losing the battle against the enemy is when you don’t dream or remember your dreams. Every man has a spirit in him and God communicates to man through the spirit. Dreams are the lowest and most common form of communication from God to man. Other forms are open vision, trance, word of knowledge and so on, which are all advanced forms. In Numbers 12:6, God said He speaks to prophets in visions and dreams. Every child of God is a prophet unto himself, God has made us priests and kings, He comes to us in the night to open our ears to instructions and gives us warnings, Job 33:15-17. So if you don’t dream or remember your dreams how then can you be delivered?
This is an indication that you are losing the battle to the enemy. The enemy operates mostly at night, Matthew 13:25, when man is physically or spiritually asleep. They come in to manipulate the destinies of men and when they wake up the evil begins to manifest. If you cannot see these things in the spirit realm you will think everything happening to you is normal.

In 1 Sam. 28:6-8, when king Saul could no longer hear from God by dreams or through the priest and prophets, he went after demonic prophets that he had banished from the land. This was the beginning of his downfall. The spirit of man is wired to communicate with God and so when this communication is broken, they develop itchy ears to hear from other means. This is a major problem of man today.

• Every attack against my dream life, backfire in Jesus name.
• Every demonic arrow fired into my dream memory, go back to your sender.
• O Lord, restore my dream memory in Jesus name.
• Father, undo whatever the enemies have done against my destiny.
• Lord, by your mercies, open my ears to hear you in Jesus name.
