That prison must open – Part 4
Beloved, we all need to understand that Jesus Christ is the beginning and end of every freedom. And any measure meant to obliterate prison experience that is not anchored upon Christ the Redeemer cannot produce comprehensive freedom. This is because sin as the primary root-cause of every imprisonment can only be overcame through repentance and acceptance of Jesus Christ as the only Saviour. Without Christ in your life, there is no freedom.
Jn 8: 36 says, “If the Son, therefore, shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.”
If you would be freed from any demonic entanglement including physical oppression, you must have the freedom that the Son bestows by becoming a child of God. It is only through Christ that one can be delivered from the bondage of sin and its punishment, made the son of God and have the privilege of living forever with Him. We should understand that Jesus came to open the prison doors to accomplish Himself at the cross of Calvary. Therefore, you must not do anything that will make God abandon you and empower Satan to put you into confinement.
Remember, if one doesn’t steal or rob he will not go to jail if one commits no murder he cannot be sentenced to death. If a driver doesn’t commit a traffic offense, he will not be imprisoned. If the abortion doesn’t take you to physical prison, it might send you to prison of childlessness and mockery. So sin or wrongdoing is the reason for our suffering cum prison experience. But if one mistakenly found himself in prison while standing on the righteousness of God, the angels of God will assuredly deliver him.
Acts 12:5-10 says, “Peter, therefore, was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him. And when Herod would have brought him forth, the same night Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains: and the keepers before the door kept the prison. And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands. And the angel said unto him, Gird thyself, and bind on thy sandals. And so he did. And he saith unto him, Cast thy garment about thee and follow me. And he went out, and followed him, and wist not that it was true which was done by the angel, but thought he saw a vision. When they were past the first and the second ward, they came unto the iron gate that leadeth unto the city; which opened to them of his own accord: and they went out, and passed on through one street, and forthwith the angel departed from him”
That invisible chain that you got entangled with as a result of sin and which has hampered your progress shall be cut today and all those praying you should not escape shall be blinded and you will be freed. The gate of the prison shall be opened today for you in Jesus’ name. It doesn’t matter who kept you into that prison or how many years you have been there, but what I know is that as Herod tried but couldn’t succeed, so also the plan to keep you in prison by occult man, witches and wizard shall be frustrated in your life for if God be for you no one can be against you? If you can repent from all your sins, I am assuring you that no weapon formed against you shall prosper and any hand that shall rise against you shall wither for your sake. The Lord will contend with them that contend with you.
If you are in any form of prison either that of poverty, lack, sickness, delay in marriage or affliction you are coming out of it today in Jesus’ name. But you must ensure there is no guilt found in you as that will delay your freedom or outrightly hinder your liberty.
In case you are asking what sin is, 1John is 5:17(a) says, “All unrighteousness is a sin.”
Anything that is not righteousness is sin, and that could be unbelief, pride, contention, bitterness, malice, covetousness, blasphemy, idolatry, envy, hatred, slandering, backbiting and, cursing. It is a sin to consult a sorcerer, belong to a secret, open or campus cult. It’s a sin to steal, rob, engage in internet fraud, snatch peoples’ bags and pickpocket. The Scripture says that if you continue in sin, you are of the devil and as a result, you cannot see the kingdom of God. If you don’t want to repent and you are in the church, please don’t give an offering or make any contribution; take that money to the owner, we don’t need much money for the work of God.
Are you among those people that are into homosexual, lesbianism, masturbation, fornication, adultery, prostitution, etc., I want you to know that these things are evil and because of such sins God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah? Are you a murderer, killer, hired assassin, terrorist, or a kidnapper, amend your ways and repent. I don’t know the wickedness that you are into, now is the acceptable time. All those that give a bribe and take bribe and extort money from people because they are uniformed men, including smugglers must repent if they don’t want to experience imprisonment. I don’t know the evil you are into, it may be you take alcoholic drinks, local one, burukutu, local gin or you are selling them or working in brewery or hotel, you are into sin. I advise that you resign for God will give you a better job. People that are sniffing snuff, Indian hemp, cocaine, heroin, and smoking cigarettes are into a sinful habits and must repent today.
If you are collecting a salary without working for it, you should know that’s stealing. You must do the work and if people are working for you, pay them for all unrighteousness is a sin. If you are a liar, or maybe you fight your husband or beat your wife, such is disobedience to the word of God, or maybe you have divorced your wife or husband or you are into polyandry marriage, you must repent.
Matthew 19:4-6 “And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder”
God’s accepted form of marriage is between a man and a woman, anything short of that is an abomination. If you have divorced your first wife or husband, God doesn’t want separation, as a result, you must go back to your first spouse. Marriage is until death separates you. If you have made a mistake, now is God’s time to amend it, for you can’t amend after death. Remember the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
All those women that are bleaching and became yellow overnight are practicing unrighteousness. Jer 4:30 says, “And when thou art spoiled, what wilt thou do? Though thou clothest thyself with crimson, though thou deckest thee with ornaments of gold, though thou retest thy face with painting, in vain shalt thou make thyself fair; thy lovers will despise thee, they will seek thy life.”
Women that paint hands, legs, mouth, eyes, and hair are spoilt including those that put extra fingers, teeth, eyes, attachment, weavon, ear-rings, jewelry, bangles because these things are not of God. Those ladies that dress to seduce by exposing their chest, armpit, waist, thighs are not Christians for a Christian is not a seducer and a seducer is not a Christian. A good Christian covers her body properly well.
And if you are a man wearing jerry curly, rough hair, scattered hair or plait your hair like women, you are an abomination unto the Lord, as well as men who wear skirt and blouse.
Deut. 22:5 says, “The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman’s garment: for all that do so are an abomination unto the Lord thy God.”
Abominable people cannot enter the kingdom of God, so if you want freedom from any form of imprisonment on earth and after this life you must stop dressing like the opposite sex. Amend your ways, harden not your heart. I want to remind you, that God’s time for your salvation is now, after death, no more time for you.

How God Delivered Me From 15 Years Of Prostitution
Excerpts from the interview granted by Sister Lovett who renounced 15 years prostitution business:
MY name is Lovett (surname withheld) and I hail from the Ihechi-owa community in Aro Chukwu/ Ohafia Local Government Area of Abia State. I am a divorcee. I got separated from my husband when the love that bonded us became irredeemable and thus the relationship degenerated into quarrel until my parents returned the dowry according to the culture. And that ended the marriage.
Can You Remember What Started The Quarrel?
It was my mother-in-law that caused the problem. She suddenly became domineering and my refusal to be subjected to her domination generated a frosty relationship between us. And to worsen the situation, my husband supported all she was doing, and that broke my heart. Consequently, my parents had no option than to return the dowry signifying the end of the marriage.
Was She Not In Support Of The Marriage?
She participated in all the traditional marriage rites and even championed some of them. But suddenly became hostile as soon as I came to the family and refused to acknowledge any good thing I did in the family.
Can You Tell Us How Old You Were As At That Time?
I have given birth to a baby boy then but I was still very young maybe about 23 years. My husband was the first man I knew on earth. The boy was five years old when we divorced and I was allowed to take custody of him but the father was always visiting to see his child.
Now That You Have Heard From Our Pastor’s Teaching That God Hates Separation, What Will Be Your Reaction?
Yes, the Pastor has made me understand that God frowns at divorce but my husband has remarried since 20 years ago and had children from the other wife, so I don’t think such aversion by the Scripture will bear fruit in my case. However, I know that with God all things are possible, therefore, my take is that now I have given my life to Christ, let God’s will be done in my matter. After all, I didn’t know I would renounce prostitution after 15 years. If God can deliver me from prostitution, there is nothing He cannot do. I have decided to submit to whatever is the will of God in my life.
So You Were Into Prostitution Before
Yes. I was into prostitution for more than 15 years. My last abode was at Main-Gate Hotels in Ijeshatedo, a suburb in Surulere, Lagos. It was there that a Chosen Sister from the hotel evangelism group of The Lord’s Chosen visited and preached a heart-touching message that shredded my heart and convicted me to surrender to our Lord Jesus Christ. According to Paul, the Apostle who said he conferred not with flesh and blood before taking the decision to follow Jesus, I also took no counsel with the management of the hotel despite owing rent neither did I seek advice from any of my co-prostitutes on whether or not to give my life to Christ. The message of the sister was like a bombshell that exploded in my heart and shattered every resistance against the word of God I had before then.
Have You Not Before Heard That Prostitution Is Sinful?
I have been a Christian and it wasn’t that I never heard the gospel before but the truth is that I haven’t considered prostitution as an evil. But when the chosen sister came and preached with anointing against prostitution, the anointing broke my 15 years yoke of prostitution. I then realised myself, repented and renounced the evil of prostitution. Before, I used to mock Chosen members and called them unreasonable people. If someone had prophesied that I would be converted by Chosen member, I wouldn’t have believed it. But the rejected stone has become the pillar that brought about my salvation – God is a mysterious and living Being.
The Journey Into Prostitution
After I left my husband’s house and went to the village, I engaged in farming. So, on one of the days I was harvesting my crops, I met a man who after watching the tedious work I was doing suggested to take me to Lagos. He told me he was running a restaurant business and would engage me there. So I followed him to his hotel in Lagos.
After working for one week, he asked me to take one of the rooms occupied by prostitutes and should join them in whatever they are doing. I was really shocked but had no option and that was how I became a prostitute.
What Was Your First Day Experience Like?
The first day was funny because when the man from Nnewi in Anambra State entered my room, I didn’t know what to do. There was no romance and in the end I didn’t ask for money but instead started weeping. The cry touched the man and he became nice to me, our friendship lasted for many years after. Let me stop there because my story can tingle the ear.
How Much Were You Making Daily From Prostitution?
One could make N5,000 or more daily but the money would be finished before the end of the day. The worst is that you couldn’t account for what you spent it on. Even the rent we paid weekly for the room was difficult to get. Prostitution is evil. I will advise those into it to renounce it and surrender to Christ. I thank God for His mercy and for making me a Chosen.
