Life is full of battles and it has been there from the Bible days. But the Bible is telling us to fear not, have no fear about the circumstances of life or how tomorrow will be.

Text: 2 Chronicles 20:15-20
[15] And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s.
[16] Tomorrow go ye down against them: behold, they come up by the cliff of Ziz; and ye shall find them at the end of the brook, before the wilderness of Jeruel.
[17] Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them: for the LORD will be with you.
[18] And Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground: and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem fell before the LORD, worshipping the LORD.
[19] And the Levites, of the children of the Kohathites, and of the children of the Korhites, stood up to praise the LORD God of Israel with a loud voice on high.
[20] And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

Life is full of battles and it has been there from the Bible days. But the Bible is telling us to fear not, have no fear about the circumstances of life or how tomorrow will be.
Matthew 6:34
[34] Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. The Bible made it crystal clear that tomorrow will take care of itself.
From the day you came into this world, trouble had started, though everything depends on how you see and handle it. If you read our opening scripture, there was trouble in Israel and as a result, Jehoshaphat spoke to God and the word of God came to him saying, “don’t be afraid or dismayed. The battle is the Lord’s and not yours.”
And God gave him instructions on what to do and as they did they were victorious.

What the church needs in this time and season is to pray, the Bible says all things works together for good. God knows why the Corona virus pandemic had to be this way. But as a child of God, when your life is connected to Him, all these diseases and viruses will not affect you.

As a child of God, when you are faced with battles, cultivate the habit of singing praises to Him, thank Him for all He has been doing for you and the same God Who has kept you alive will fulfil your heart’s desires. Learn to always put your trust in God. The Bible says they that put their trust in God are like mount Zion that can’t be moved. No matter the trouble in the land, you won’t be moved.
