The primary goal of the evil scriptwriters is to see that you live a life contrary to God’s original plan for you. They, therefore, want to manipulate your life events and activities to tally with their goal. They re-write the last chapter of their victims’ life. The case of Gahazi in 2kg 5:25-27 is a clear example. It was not in God’s original script for him to end up as a leper. This is a man whose master, Elisha had received a double portion of anointing from Elijah. Following this positive trend, Gahazi would have received a far exceeding portion from his predecessors for supernatural exploits, but the powers that be, stirred up the demon of greed in him. This caused him to make that mistake that attracted a curse upon his life and he died as a leper. All his years of faithful service to Elisha was messed up. When they re-write the last chapter of a man’s life, he will start well, but end up very badly.

Another person whose last chapter was re-written in the scriptures is King Uzziah in 2Chr 26:3-7, 19-21. He became king at 16 years and reigned for 52 years. He did everything that was right in the sight of God, he sought God in everything he did and God made him to prosper in all areas until the enemy struck. He became so proud that he went beyond the bounds of his kingly duties, encroaching into the duties and office of the priest. He was struck with leprosy for the rest of his life. He was a good man, but just one mistake turned his whole story into shame. Any power that wants to manipulate your life so that you end up in shame, may it be frustrated today in Jesus’ name.

Again, the evil scriptwriters can write the obituary of men causing them to die untimely. In 1Sam 31:4-5, King Saul died untimely death; it was not God’s plan for him. The powers can make one to take wrong steps in life like Saul. Such a great king, ordained by God, suddenly started consulting and dinning with witches. The same witchcraft practice, he once banned from the land. When God rejected him, he committed suicide and died a witch. May you not miss the mark after you have laboured in life?

Sometime ago, a young pastor, who was highly anointed and God used him mightily lived with his wife for many years without a child. The wife, who was less spiritually-minded consulted a female witch doctor for solution. She was asked to bring her husband along on her next appointment to the witch doctor, but her husband being a pastor, refused to go. She pressurised him for many days, threatening to quit the marriage if he refused to go. He eventually followed her and the witch doctor said the only solution to their bareness was for her to sleep with the pastor. Again the pastor refused, but after many days of pressure from the wife, he gave in and met with the witch doctor. Immediately, the act was completed, he fell sick and died. Before his death, the witch doctor revealed her true identity to him. She said she was the demon the pastor cast out of a little girl many years back and she has been waiting for an opportunity to get back at him. Unfortunately, the pastor did not have time to repent before he died just like the case of Samson, Judas Iscariot and some other God’s generals. The enemies wrote the last chapter of their lives and prepared their obituary in the spirit realm.
