The great day of reckoning is coming

Revelation 22:10-13, “And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand. 11 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.”

The phrase, Day of Reckoning, refers to the last judgment of God in Christian belief during which everyone, after death, is called to account for his or her actions committed in life. It is a day all lifetime misdeeds, wrong actions and inactions, as well as all excesses are punished and good deeds and obedience leading to excellence in performance are rewarded. It is, indeed, the day of the Lord. In the scripture above, God made it clear to all that He is coming to reward every man according to his works on earth. From the tone of the warning, all gospels have been preached in the ears of everyone; hence nobody has the excuse of not living the life worth making heaven. Man is at this point required to make his choice of the kind of reward he will receive from God.

Based on the coming rewards, that day will produce two groups of happy and unhappy people. People going to heaven and those forced to enter hell fire. It is against this backdrop that the Bible says in Zephaniah 1:14-18, “The great day of the Lord is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the day of the Lord: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly. 15 That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness. 16 A day of the trumpet and alarm against the fenced cities, and against the high towers.17 And I will bring distress upon men, that they shall walk like blind men, because they have sinned against the Lord: and their blood shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh as the dung. 18 Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the Lord’s wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land”.

This serious warning is coming to keep the people abreast of the wrath that is coming to enable them prepare the way of escape. The gospel of the Lord is clear, repent of your sins, believe in our Lord Jesus Christ and serve Him in order to make heaven at the end of one’s life. Unfortunately, many people are more interested in the things of the world and acquiring wealth at all cost without any regard to God’s Will. They do not care to know the purpose of their existence. It is this group of careless people the Bible laments that they will cry on the last day, their silver and gold will not deliver them from the wrath that will befall them. Fire and brimstone will devour the land. At this tribulation period, the saints, the people who lived their lives in accordance with the will of God must have been raptured. In order to avoid crying had I known on the last day, Christ is calling everyone to repentance.

The Bible says in Revelation 1:3, “Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand”. The gospel of Jesus Christ, calling for repentance is being preached everywhere in the world today. There is reward for hearing and accepting the gospel and putting it into practice to make it part of one’s lifestyle. Heaven is interested in the salvation of every soul, but the same heaven will not hesitate to throw any unrepentant and sinful soul into hell fire for everlasting punishment.

Now the warning is coming, there is no room for procrastination. Nobody knows the day the trumpet will sound, the day of reckoning. We should take note of the warning in 1st Corinthians 7:29-31, “But this I say, brethren, the time is short: it remaineth, that both they that have wives be as though they had none; 30 And they that weep, as though they wept not; and they that rejoice, as though they rejoiced not; and they that buy, as though they possessed not; 31 And they that use this world, as not abusing it: for the fashion of this world passeth away”. There is no time to waste in this heavenly race; hence do not put interest or pay much attention to earthly possessions because they will all end here on earth and naturally pass away. At any time, the word of God remains and will be fulfilled at the appointed time.

It is important to adhere to warnings of the End Time. In the days of Noah, the people did not listen to the preaching, but when the flood came, they all perished. Their wealth and knowledge could not save them. We are advised to carefully handle the things of the world, not to abuse them, especially when it involves wealth and learning. Wealthy and high profile educated people find it difficult to serve God because of the thinking they have everything, but that is abusing the things of the world. We should desist from such. Never place high premium on the possessions of this world, as they will not save your soul on the judgment day.

The Bible says in Matthew 24:27,32-35, “For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.” The coming of the Lord for the judgment day shall be as swift as lightning that nobody will have time for any preparation and amendment. We should adhere to the warnings now and repent from all forms of sinful activities. “32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: 33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. 35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.” He who has ear should hear what the Lord is telling the people of the world and abide by it. Anybody who wants to make heaven must be both hearer and doer of the word of God, as qualification for entering heaven. Through the salvation gospel preachers, God is sounding warning of repentance to everyone. You need to repent now. There will be a time grace will be taken away and it will be impossible for the person to have his sins forgiven. God is calling you now, repent and give your life to Jesus Christ, if you have not done so. If you have repented, remain faithful to God. You will make heaven in Jesus name.

Spirit Husband Tormenting For 48 Years Destroyed
My name is Sister Iyabo Margret. I joined The Chosen in September 2020. I thank God for breaking the yoke of spirit husband torment right from when I was 19 years. I had been to so many churches in search of solution to my problem. This spirit has hindered me from getting married and making progress in life. The spirit would come and put my mind in utmost confusion. My search for solution in different churches was to no avail. Then it drove me into looking for solution in native doctors’ shrines, but all was to no avail. One of the reverends, who prayed for me, said the name of the spirit is Ashmodee spirit, a spiritual husband in the sea. I am 68-year-old yet I am not married. This is due to that spirit husband and powers following me. Whenever I went to a church, he would put confusion between the church members and I, and they would eventually drive me away. It got to a point I said to myself that I wouldn’t serve God again.

Anytime I saw my old mother’s home in my dreams, it would result in a setback. Whenever I saw the first car I used in 1982 in my dream, it resulted in setback. One day, I decided to try The Chosen Church, which is very close to my house, but I didn’t like it. In 2013, they came to set up the church in my quarters, but I never liked the church. I was attending Christ Chosen Church. I was baptised and confirmed in the church. I said to myself, what is the difference between Christ and Lord? So, I started critising it. After going to other churches, I decided to attend The Lord’s Chosen one day, since it was close to me. One thing I like about The Lord’s Chosen is that they preach the truth. So, I joined The Chosen and continued in faith. One day, I spoke to my branch Pastor (Pastor Sunday).

I explained what I was passing through to him. He counselled me and told me to continue in The Chosen because continuity brings freedom, so I continued. When I came to the church, I was not standing well because of a sickness I was suffering from, I told my pastor and he prayed for me and fixed a two-day vigil. On the first day, I didn’t go and I told him that I didn’t like attending vigils, but he encouraged me to come. So, l attended the next night, and after that vigil, God broke the age-long yoke of spirit husband attack. Three days later after the vigil, I was in a dream and the spirit husband came again and we began to fight. I overpowered him and killed him. When I woke up, I saw that I was strengthened. Then I remembered Zachariah 4:6, and I began to recite that part of the scripture till I got up from my bed. That was how God of Chosen delivered me from that wicked spirit husband. Praise the Lord!

Moreover, foul odour used to ooze out from my body for two years. I went to a white garment church for solution. They gave me olive oil and holy water to be bathing with, but it didn’t end the smell. Eventually, l carried it to The Chosen. Four weeks ago, I checked myself and discovered that I was not smelling again. Praise the Lord!

The last but not the least, the old house and car I used to see in my dream, I don’t see them again. Spirit husband that has been tormenting me for 48 years has been destroyed. I thank God for His total deliverance upon my life. I pray for our General Pastor and his wife, all the Chosen pastors and members worldwide. Heaven at last in Jesus name. Praise the Lord!
