Udofia tasks govt on insecurity, food crisis
Primate of The African Church, His Eminence, Emmanuel Josiah Udofia, has urged the Federal Government to be proactive in putting an end to insecurity, and the current food crisis, among other challenges currently facing the country.
Udofia said this at a Valedictory Service held in his honour, by the Ogun Province of the African Church, Cathedral of St. James, Idi-Ape, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
In his sermon, titled: “Hold Fast To Jesus Christ Till The End,” the Primate stressed that the African Church has come to stay.
Reading from Romans 6: 18, the cleric admonished members of the church to remain steadfast in the Lord Jesus Christ, despite the challenges bedeviling the country.
He also advised Christians across the country to shun all forms of vices, saying Jesus Christ has given freedom and victory to believers through His death on the Cross of Calvary.
Udofia lauded the Osile of Oke-Ona Egba, Oba Tejuoso for his role in the unification of the church, in the face of the recent challenges.
