Week 4: He will fulfill his plans

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end (Jeremiah 29:11).

God has a beautiful plan for your life. As you cooperate with Him, He will bring it to pass. You do not need to worry or stress yourself over anything. Just trust Him with all your heart, and follow His leading day by day and you will see the glory of God in your life.

The story of Joseph was full of curves and turns. He was hated by his brothers; they sold him into slavery. Lied against him in the most damaging manner, he was sent to prison without trial. No one could have had it worse.

But we never read of Joseph complaining, weeping and moaning his fate. Like Job of old, he trusted God, and calmly expected God to fulfil the dream He had given him. And God did. Those who trust in Him shall never be put to shame (Psalm 34:5).

Throughout this year, make up your mind not to be anxious over anything, but to pray over everything, seeking the leading of the Lord for your life. And whatever He says to you, just do it. This done, you will see God working all things together for your good.

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28).
