We all need adequate and steady income to enjoy the good things of life. God is the only provider that can steadily sustain our sources of income and bless us with things that can make us rich.

It is expedient for every human being to know God and to be able to attract His presence to himself. When divine attention is with us, there is every tendency that the good things of life, which only God can provide will be ours. Anyone that is short of the necessities of life lives, exhibits sorrow, anger, worries and complaints. It is on this backdrop that Matthew 6:31-33 says: “Therefore take no thought, saying, what shall we eat? Or, what shall we drink? Or wherewithal shall we be clothed? 32: (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. 33: But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

God’s blessings come naturally to God’s children. The lead scripture advises us to seek God and find Him, so that, the blessings reserved for the members of the royal family of God will naturally come to us. It is a simple arithmetic. Serve the Lord in holiness and righteousness and He, in turn, will cater for your wellbeing. Deuteronomy 28:1-5 confirms this: “And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments, which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: 2: And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God. 3: Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field. 4: Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep. 5: Blessed shall be thy basket and thy store.”

All human beings are God’s creation; He gave us life, but demands obedience to His words and diligence in His service, which will in turn bring more protection and open doors to us. Whosoever adheres to His commands will be set above His equals in terms of blessings, influence, protection and eternal life hereafter. It is through evangelism that people will hear and accept the message of God and also be delivered from the Devil’s bondage. God is happy with whosoever wins souls for His kingdom; He blesses the person in return. Whosoever wants the blessings of God must make haste to do God’s work and win souls for His kingdom.

We are to emulate our Lord Jesus Christ who is the head of the church and the author and the finisher of our faith. Our Saviour did the work of His Father to the fullest. John 8:29 says: “And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.” Our Lord Jesus Christ finished the work He was sent to do. He did not only please God, but was crucified for the salvation of mankind. This pleased God who in turn gave Him all the powers under heaven and that at the mention of His name, every knee shall bow and all tongues must confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.

According to Luke 15:31, the Almighty God gave all what He has to His son, Jesus Christ. These gifts can also get to us because are His children.
As the disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ, if we serve God faithfully, all that God has will be ours. Luke 15:31says: “And he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine.”

The above scripture is the promise of God to all His faithful children. If we will serve Him, all that He has will be made available to us. According to divine declaration, this year, the Chosen of God will have dominion in whatever they lay their hands on; people will favour them, their businesses, and in all areas of their lives. They will be blessed above their equals and miracles will manifest in whatever they lay their hands on. In all of this, one thing is very essential — the salvation of our souls. It is uppermost to God. We must live holy and righteous lives at all times. We must give our life to Jesus Christ and continuously run the race to make heaven hereafter. Luke 3:10-14 says: “And the people asked him, saying, what shall we do then? 11: He answereth and saith unto them, He that hath two coats, let him impart to him that hath none; and he that hath meat, let him do likewise. 12: Then came also publicans to be baptised, and said unto him, Master, what shall we do? 13: And he said unto them, exact no more than that which is appointed you. 14: And the soldiers likewise demanded of him, saying, and what shall we do? And he said unto them, do violence to no man, neither accuse any falsely; and be content with your wages.”

God wants everyone to come to repentance, forsake all known and unknown sins and give our lives to our Lord Jesus Christ. We are to do good to all that come in contact with us. Our life should be a reflection of that of our Lord Jesus Christ. In living a life devoid of sin the blessing of God will be ours and we shall make heaven at last in Jesus’ name.
