Worship, prayers, testimonies as ‘ancient brethren’ gather

Assemblies of God Reunion Fellowship is set to hold her Inaugural Patriarchal Fellowship tagged, “The Gathering of Ancient Brethren.”

The programme slated for Saturday, 31 August 2019, will hold at Assemblies of God Church, Idi Oro, Mushin, Lagos State.

Organisers of the programme explained that the event, which theme is, “Remember the Days of Old: Ask Thy Father,” promises to be a time of praise worship, prayer, testimonies and reflections.

According to Pastor Friday Agbon Omofuma, “This gathering is the first meeting of erstwhile brethren, who were either saved, or called to serve God in the church many years ago, but have since moved to fellowship in other locations across the world.

Omofuma, who spoke on behalf of the Reunion Fathers that are spearheading the event, said participants at the reunion would be drawn from Abuja, Benin, Calabar and other Nigerian cities, while those residing abroad have equally indicated their willingness to contribute to whatever project that would be embarked upon as a memorial.
