The Onitsha Archdiocese gives birth to Aguleri Diocese

On February 12, 2023, the Holy Father, Pope Francis, carved out the Diocese of Aguleri from the Archdiocese of Onitsha, making Aguleri the latest daughter of the Church in Onitsha.
