Sales of NEVs on the rise in South Africa

Amid a global emphasis on green energy and the subsequent global energy transition, total sales of new energy vehicles (NEVs) in South Africa increased by 65 per cent year-on-year in 2023, with hybrid vehicles making up most of these sales.
