812 Healthcare workers infected with coronavirus disease
Director-General of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), Dr Chikwe Ihekweazu who disclosed this at the daily Press conference by the Presidential Taskforce on COVID-19 yesterday in Abuja, revealed that 75 percent of the patients contracted the coronavirus disease through unknown sources while 23 percent of patients are contacts of people who returned to the country from abroad and only 2 percent of the infected persons were people that returned from abroad.
