African countries spending billions to cope with climate crisis, says report
A new report by the thinktank Power Shift Africa has said African countries are being forced to spend billions of dollars yearly to cope with the effects of the climate crisis, which is diverting potential investment from schools and hospitals as well as worsening poverty.
