Over-reliance on govt funding makes varsities lazy, says Bamiro

A former Vice Chancellor of the University of Ibadan (UI), Emeritus Professor Olufemi Bamiro, has warned that institutions’ over-reliance on government funding, fuelled by the ideological stance of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), has encouraged apathy and laziness on the part of individual institutions in the country.
