Army welfare reforms boost troop morale, counter-terror operations – Coalition

A coalition of civil society organisations under the aegis of Nigeria Integrity Watch (NIW) has commended the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General Waidi Shaibu, for introducing welfare-focused reforms which it said have significantly improved the morale of troops and enhanced the Nigerian Army's operational effectiveness in the fight against terrorism and other security threats.
