The 21-kilometre Ijesha marathon has been scheduled for April 3. The race powered by BELTIJ limited, is expected to create a platform for long distance athletes in Osun State and its environs to showcase their potential.

In a bid to develop athletics in Osun State, and to create competitive platforms for long distance runners in the country, Uniq FM and Freedom TV, Ilesa, have concluded plans to stage a half marathon tagged ‘Ijesha Grand Marathon’.
